WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT PRICING?

My current pricing guide can be found here www.cakedimagery.com/pricing as well as in depth looks into what each package offers.

DO I GET TO SELECT MY OWN IMAGES AND HOW MANY WILL I HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM?

You do! We are our own toughest critic so I will be sure to provide you with a variety of angles and expressions in hopes I’ll supply your favorite one. 30 minute sessions can contain anywhere from 25-85 images and hour sessions can contain anywhere from 75-200.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Anything you may want!  My photography focuses on the subject but I am happy to incorporate anything you may like into your photos.  As we prepare for your session we can discuss ideas you have and I will make honest suggestions on what you could or should bring.

WHAT TIME IS BEST FOR PHOTOS AND ARE YOU OPEN WEEKENDS?

I am absolutely open weekends!  Times of day differ between session types but as a standard my outdoor sessions are at sunrise or sunset and studio sessions are during the day.

I HAVE A BLEMISH!  DO YOU OFFER SKIN RETOUCHING?

Absolutely!  A little break out or dry baby skin shouldn't prevent you from your photos.  Basic retouching comes standard in all our packages with an emphasis on naturally beautiful skin that doesn't feel over processed.  If you have a specific concern please feel free to inquire when booking.

I FEEL SO AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA!  DO YOU HELP ME?

This one always makes me laugh because I feel the same way!  Unlike me in front of the camera, you will have me behind the camera guiding you every step of the way!  From hands to feet, through out your session, I will encourage movements that help convey a more relaxed image so you will never feel you are flying solo.

HOW LONG BEFORE I'LL SEE MY GALLERY?

Galleries can be expected anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on current workload.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS...

My most common word of advice is be patient especially when it comes to working with our littlest members of the family.  You know how excited we get to finally have those photos we've been wanting for so long?  Don't forget we want to encourage our families to be just as excited!  Try not to focus too much on each moment and getting them just right, and more on the memories you want to create forever.  Don't forget that this shouldn't be stressful but instead should be an experience that creates even more memories for you too!  We want the smiles, the giggles, and all the other heartwarming moments we witness everyday as our family grows.  To capture those fleeting seconds that we wish we could bottle up and hold still for eternity!  So don't forget when discussing expectation to also discuss excitement!  Where we are going, and how much fun we are going to have making pictures.  I'll often take tiny breaks to show the kids something fun... discuss something interesting... or maybe just take a photo that is just plain silly to keep them on their toes and having fun!  At the end of our session I hope your family will leave smiling and the littles begging to stay.  And usually, if you take these things to heart, you'll usually be thrilled to hear your children asking "when can we take pictures again?!"
